The Baltimore Sun needed to drive paid subscriptions to their news website.


As paid subscriptions and circulations of printed newspaper continued to drop nationwide, the Baltimore Sun needed to create a new revenue channel via paid subscriptions to their website. The challenge they were faced with was creating incentive and motivation to pay for a news website when there are literally hundreds of options for online news and information, completely free of charge.


Over the two years that eROI worked with the Baltimore Sun, the publication added over 15,000 paid digital subscriptions which lead to a lifetime value of over $8 million in revenue.
