Meet Laurie Seibold. Laurie is an Account Manager that helps keep our most complicated email projects on time and on budget. Her mix of deep email experience, eternally sunny attitude and crazy stories makes her perfect for this position. Here are her Five Things.
I’ve been to Turkey, Indonesia, Mexico, Honduras, India, the Bahamas, Singapore, and Turks & Caicos. My next big trip will be Palau, Fiji, Tahiti, Argentina or Morocco. I like to do one tropical trip a year and one ‘exploratory’ or more land based trip.
I adore sharks. They’re the kittens of the sea! I’ve been on a shark dive, eye to eye with Lemon sharks, and been circled by black tip reef sharks (exciting!). Diving with Great White sharks is last on my bucket list for a reason. If I could hug and kiss a shark, I would.
I’m an Oregon native, raised on a blackberry farm in Mt. Angel, a town of only 2,500 people. I’ve been working summers since I was 5 years old, earning my own money and paying for my own things. I love that I was raised this way and my family is very important to me. I love being an aunt to my niece and 3 nephews!
4) Personal Consciousness
I enjoy working on personal consciousness and self-awareness and am inspired by the authors Don Miguel Ruiz and Eckhart Tolle. On this path I’ve learned how to be more aware, open-minded, peaceful and happy.
I love Portland for many reasons, from the multitude of food choices to the weather and terrain, but mainly, yeah, it’s the food. My favorite restaurant is Toro Bravo, favorite indulgence Pok Pok wings and a Tamarind whiskey sour, and you’ll find me at many of the great beer and food festivals Oregon holds, especially “Feast”. Portland also holds a special place in my heart because of our amazing basketball team. I’m a big fan. Go Blazers!!
